Soccer Doesn't Play, Earns #3 Seed Delta Sig FC had hoped to get a nice tuneup in its final match before playoffs, however the game was forfeited by the opposition. The team goes into playoffs as the #3 seed and plays its first match against ATO on Sunday, April 19.

Champions! After a hard-fought final, Delta Sig FC emerged as Fraternity indoor soccer champions today. After trailing for the first time all season against SigEp in the semifinal, 4 unanswered goals carried the team into the final versus ZBT. In the toughest game of the year, the team again went down early, only to score 4 unanswered goals. ZBT pulled back two to make it 4-3, however the result was secured on a goal by Mark Breen-Lopez. Congrats to the team: Chris Ramirez, Jason Bove, Kolade Falua, Vince Rizzuto, Don Boivin, Jimmy Trainor, Phil Denton, Nick Patcella, Mark Breen-Lopez, and goalkeeper Matt Titman.

Delta Sigs Give Blood Every year, Delta Sigma Phi's annual Blood Sweat and Cash drive provides monetary donations, volunteer hours, and much-needed blood for the American Red Cross. In support of our national philanthropy, brothers of the Alpha Sigma chapter donated blood at the Stamp Student Union. Thanks to everyone who gave today.

Delta Sigs Go To RLA Brothers of the Alpha Sigma chapter attended the Delta Sigma Phi Regional Leadership Academy in Philadelphia on Saturday the 21st. Topics discussed included how to better our chapters and build better brotherhood. Brothers who attended were Brothers Jason Stinner, Nick Patcella, John McCabe, Mike DeVore, Matt Titman, Jimmy Trainor, Steve Popky, Drew Gorinson, and Andrew Bender. Special thanks to the brothers of Theta Gamma chapter for visiting our house after the event.

Wins for Delta Sig Sports The Delta Sig athletic teams both notched quality wins this week. The Nile Greens basketball team beat Theta Chi 33-24, with a big game from point guard John McCabe. Delta Sig FC kept their win streak alive with a 4-1 win over Sig Ep. Goals scored by Vince Rizzuto, Kolade Falua, and Jimmy Trainor. Playoffs start next week, and the soccer team is the number 1 seed in B League.

FC Delta Sig Rolls, Basketball takes tough loss In the second week of intramural indoor soccer, FC Delta Sig delivered a dominant performance to beat TEP 5-0. Goals scored by Vince Rizzuto, Jimmy Trainor, Kolade Falua, and Chris Ramirez. In other sports news, the DSP Nile Greens basketball team was stopped by FIJI. The teams are back in action next week, soccer playing Sig Ep and basketball playing Theta Chi.
