Academics To further our academic career is what brings students to the University of Maryland. The Alpha Sigma Chapter of the Delta Sigma Phi takes pride in its academic success. We currently have a 3.12 GPA among brothers which resides above the Maryland average of 3.06. Many of our brothers are involved in academic honor societies in addition to 22% of our chapter being recognized on Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) Community Service Community service is extremely important to the brothers of Delta Sigma Phi. We believe it is our responsibility to give back to the community to make it a better place. Over the course of the 2011-2012 Academic Year we have compiled 480 man hours. We have contributed to serveral different organizations including the Red Cross, Cherry Hill Park Service, and Autism Speaks. Campus Involvement Campus Involvement is another one of our focal points. While we are all involved within our chapter, we find it important to be involved within the University of Maryland as well.
